Version 0.1.1 - 20 levels done
Still working on web build related issue with the level selection menu. You can toggle it by pressing S but you wont see any buttons right now. I'm in the process of redoing it. Also I'm experimenting with an all 3D approach for menus that I really like, you can see the beginning of it by pressing F1, I started on a help menu, where it just exists outside of the game stage but in the same global 3D space, and the camera just moves to it. I'm going animate camera of course soon and I think I might convert all the menus to this style. What's the point in doing a breakout clone in 3D if I don't take full advantage of it right? Its going to be more work of course but I'm not in this to save time or money or anything like that. I want make a great game that's fun to play and people can come home from school or work and just zone out, enjoy the small challenges, see some cool effects, hear some interesting music in background and kinda get lost in it for a little while. That's kinda what I'm trying to do with it for myself. I want to make sure that I actually think this game is fun to play the same way I thought about the original Block 130 game that inspired it!
20 levels are done now. Looking forward to your comments and suggestions and any bugs or problems you find, I want to know about all of it! Again thanks, thanks, thanks, for playing and checking out my game!
